Tex materiaal is opgebouwd uit nylon vezels die met een hars worden samengevoegd tot een driedimensionale webstructuur. Het hars bevat slijpkorrels die een schurende werking hebben. Deze 3D soepele schuurmaterialen tast de vorm van het werkstuk niet aan en is uiterst geschikt om aangetast oppervlaktestructuur weer terug te brengen in de originele staat. Op SlijpExpert.nl leveren wij een compleet programma van tex producten van Cibo en van 3M producten onder de naam Scotch Brite. De volgende producten zijn leverbaar: Tex banden in de breedte van 9 t/m 150 mm en in lengtes variërend van 305 t/m 2000 mm, schijven in diam. 50 t/m 180 mm met en zonder asgat, handvellen, spaarrollen en lamellenslijpers en borstels. We kennen de groftes Extra Coarse (zeer grof), Coarse (grof), Medium (medium) en Very Fine (zeer fijn). Naast deze uitvoeringen levert 3M Scotch Brite ook nog de varianten Super Duty en Heavy Duty.
